thank! I was thinking about using a polaris gear box but i did think it would hold up to the 440. So i just used a double jack shaft to a solid axle. I guess i need to find a fl250 chain case.

You should see the things this guy made back in the 80's for smoking "tobacco". All motorized...sit back and enjoy the ride.

That thing is sick! Right now i am trying to put a 440 on my buggy and i keep rounding off the drive sprocket. Any suggestions?

For My drive system, I used the chaincase from an FL250 Honda Odyssey. I turned it around, mounted it dead-center, and cut off the axle on each side then fitted it with 2 CV axles from VW Jettas. (the short driver side ones).

Yeah they were too small, i've since widened the front suspension and put taller front tires on it.
