Video of the horrible officiating in the Kings-Predators game on Sunday, March 14, 2010.

The referee called the Kings' goal back due to goalie interference on the Kings' Ryan Smyth, then minutes later Nashville's Martin Erat drags Kings' goalie Jon Quick away from the goal, allowing his teammate an open game-tying goal, and the same referee allows it. Ridiculous.

  • pure bullshit dude, kings deserve the win, on the first call it was ruled goaltender interference, yet no penalty was called? why is that, and smyth was pushed into the goalie... sigh... this is bullshit.

  • @jerfy2001 Exactly. If they are going to wave off that goal for goalie interference, then why not hand out the penalty for it also? If it's not a penalty, then why wave off the goal? And then Erat interferes with Quick MUCH worse and nothing is called while Nashville shoots into a wide open goal. Ridiculous.

  • the combination of those 2 calls is very difficult for the nhl to explain. it's not like either call was away from the play, and, with the first call, they had already established that they would call goaltender interference tight. so then to see quick literally dragged across the crease to open the net and have no call? how do you explain that?
