This was taken during Dr. Mani Mina's, professor at Iowa State University in Electrical Engineering, testing for his 3rd degree black belt in Hapkido. Four opponents attack him any way they choose as quickly as they can. Dr. Mina has asthma, and this is why he drops to his knee. Despite being out of breath with severe tunnel vision, he reacts as only someone with nearly 30 years experience can. None of this video was staged.
Glad to see some of the guys from back in the day! Ken, Mani, you both look like a million bucks.
All the best,
Jason

Way to go Dr. Mina. Then to all those who say this is easy. You apparently don't realize how much control is needed to make sure that the "attackers" are not seriously injured.

Dr. Mina is one the nicest, funniest people I know. He could take all of you down in a couple seconds, and he's way cooler than anyone who feels it's neccessary to make disparaging remarks about him and his martial-arts awesomeness. I'd like to see you try some of the things he's done.

None of the attacks had intent. Had this been a streetfight, he would have gotten his ass handed to him.

Haha, good job Mani! I'm proud to have this guy as a professor.

I'd believe it if he offered some thugs from the street $50 if they could kick his ass. I'm betting the professor would be down $50 and have an ass whoopin. None of his students were even trying to hurt him. Makes for a lame and invalid demo.

this is horseshit lol, a 5 year old could do that when the men just go all floppy and limp and hahaha at 0.43 he just stood there waiting for him to do a move...realistic or what!
