Eddie Harris has so much feel, this jazz band just bakes.

@rievans57 I hate to disappoint you, but "Bitches Brew" wasn't Miles' first attempt at fusion, it goes all the way back to 1949, look it up, no really look it up.

This has been my favorite jazz cut, since I was 3 years old. The funkiest jazz ever recorded. My mother used to wear this out! Hey Checkmate 657879, I love you for blessing me with this in 1968 (when I first remember hearing it).

I had Listen Here jamming on my 8 track in my 65 Chevrolet Super Sport, on cassette in my 87 Toyota Pick up, on CD & iPod in my 07 VolksWagen...great music still to this very moment.

1967?? Who else was doing anything that even resembled FUNK as we now know it at that time??

@jplew138 you are so right. Bless you Miles Davis but Eddie Harris was tinkering around with about 5 years earlier than "Bitches Brew"...

@rafael10010 I've seen the CD version in the UK. Only in London, England, though. It must be available online - it's sacrilidge if it's not.
And behold, the man who really invented fusion.
