Check out the great cover by The Searchers. A great hit for them in thr 60s and they are still playing this song at concerts in 2011 -- and other songs too of course, including newer material.

i believe this song is from the producer of the wall of sound.phill spector.he was the mad genius behind some of the greatest rock songs .no britishh invasion ever matched it.and jackie is one of my favorite singers no matter what she sings.
