Sjúrðarkvæði known as Regin smiður, the refrain goes : Granni bar gullið av heiði, Brá hann sínum branði av reiði, Sjúrður vann orminum, grani bar gullið av heiði
Love it. I would like to go to there some day and see/hear it live. Ive heard that this tradition goes back to the medieaval story about Roland and that there was a time when people was doing this all over western europe.
Tra la la and round n round we go yihaaa! .-)

Treasure your culture. It might be gone before you know it.

[sorckylo] for your information, Faroe Islands are the ONLY land in the world who still has that dance .. Think about it.

The Faroese dance, an ancient custom! Looks boring but is fun when you know the lyrics! :)
