HD: Unbelieveable! Little Girl Narrowly Escapes Death By An NS Westbound Coal Train in Tyrone, PA

9/24/2011-Tyrone, PA:
After catching a few trains just East of here at the Plummers Hollow Crossing, I decided to head West to the Tyrone Amtrak station. After a boring 25V roared through (which I didn't record), an NS Westbound coal train snuck up on us and we missed the symbol as well. The entire time we were there, toddlers were playing on the tracks, and when the coal train approached, this little girl was almost struck and killed right in front of us. We were at a SAFE distance from the tracks while filming the train, however, these children were definitely NOT! Thanks to me and Bobert, and a few other railfans, we all convinced the girl to move off the tracks, with less than 5 seconds to spare. ***Sorry about some of the other talking in the video after we told the girl to get off the tracks***Since the girl and her siblings continued to play on the tracks after the coal train passed, we decided to leave Tyrone early with the looming fear of the NS being called in for the trespassers. This video is a good reminder to always stay safe around railroad tracks...especially when its a line as hot as the NS Pittsburgh Line.Stay tuned for all of the other trains seen on this EPIC Autumn NS Pittsburgh Line trip coming soon from 87STEELE videos...

@alvintrain yeah, I had to pick someone up from amtrak there and some guy let his four kids play on the tracks. He wouldn't listen to me when I told him a train was coming, I'm like dude, get your kids off the tracks, he stared at me. pretty much same thing that happened in this video
