I took a friend – who’d never heard of "Sweet Honey" -- to 1 of their shows.
I guaranteed her she’d like them. She was polite enough not 2 tell me right then that she thought it arrogant of me 2 say that, since how could I possibly know what she'd think of a group she'd never heard of, & had no idea what they, or their music, were all about, etcetc.
Few hours later, she was telling me it was "a religious experience" (she was, at the time, an atheist).
Guess she liked them a bit after all.
