The StoveTec Combo Two Door Stove burns either wood or charcoal. The rocket stove design principles embodied in the StoveTec stoves make them much more efficient in burning all sorts of biomass (wood, agricultural waste, and charcoal). Dean Still demonstrates how to set up, light and operate the two door stove. Dean is CEO of Aprovecho Research Center in Cottage Grove, Oregon. Aprovecho designed the rocket stoves sold by StoveTec, which are manufactures in large quantities in China. See www.stovetec.net for the whole story of these stoves.

  • Well hey if torrential rain is wrecking your morning coffee perk on the StoveTech...

Tip: Drop a 6.1 oz. Mandarin Orange can down the throat of this stove. Set a “Trangia Alky” stove on top. Perk yourself a 9 cup pot of warmth in under 20 minutes inside your porch.

    Oh yeah!!! Smokeless........

  • This is very nice. I'm planning to make a rocket stove that can burn either wood or charcoal. I don't know if the stove you show in the video is available in The Philippines.

  • I notice that the instructions say: "Keep the stove out of the rain. Keep it dry." But you're demonstrating the stove and it's raining. Huh?
