This year's Capitol Christmas Tree will be hauled to Washington D.C. from Wyoming's Bridger-Teton National Forest near Jackson Hole. Several hundred ornaments for the tree are being crafted by elementary school kids from the central Wyoming city of Riverton.
A 65-foot conifer will be trucked cross-country in November. It's the first time a Wyoming tree has been chosen for display on the U.S. Capitol grounds over the holiday season. For information visit: http://www.capitolchristmastree2010.org/
