A stark reminder to all the young ladies out there that sex is not necessarily love, nor should it be, but that you may be deceived.... not by a "lover" but by your own expectations. Dreams and fairy tales can come down hard.

I learned about her in lecture. I think she's an idiot. The body of her work comes down to "I thought sex meant love; now I'm heartbroken! I don't want other young girls to feel the same." I am embarrassed to be the same gender as her. She gives artists a bad name.

PS. I don't mean it's sexy or hot because of tits. It just tries to be deep and unusual... and maybe controversial. It's not, not to me. It's nothing original or inspiring at all. It's just plain stupid and silly. Would work as a fun tape that you did with your girlfriend ... but art? "Artvideo" ? In my opinion - no.

Stop with this "it's still art" bullshit. Soon people gonna take photo of a poop and call it art. Sad, but true. Wanna be artists make such a stuff all the time. They have no real, seenable talent, so they just call it "abstract" or "experimental", while it's just random crap.
But strictly about this one: the truth is that you would make comments like "Most idiotic thing I've seen on YouTube" ... IF she wouldn't show her tits. But she did, and hey, that always works.

I don't understand why everyone who calls this art and explains why has their comments voted into the red while someone who puts it down gets the thumbs up? Just because you don't appreciate art, it's still art. That's the beauty. I think this video is interesting. I will look further into Pipilotti Rist.
