I'll show you how to do an in-regulation hair style for females with long hair. It is for people wanting to know how should they do their hair for boot camp., and that do not know what a sock bun is.

Sorry this is not the best video on female military hair, or sock buns..but hey it was 4am..
I made this video because I had a few requests on it. Hope it somewhat helps

Are you allowed to bring hairspray and gel to boot camp, to make your hair secure?

you are allowed to bring a "pump" hair spray... non aerosol ONLY. And yes to gel too. how eles are you supposed to get your hair with-in regulation? get EXTRA HOLD!

glad to see u made it through basic alright, its 2 years ago now that i left for basic, kinda miss it, did u like it?

the new basic is longer and.. has a bit more army-like training... weapons, self aid buddy care, war tactics etc..

it was ok, worst part was the evil female flight members. 50 woman, pretty much all on their period..under in one room= not good.

yes, the marines have to wear their hair like this too, or if you cut it, it needs to be above the collar when wearing any uniform. but when you do a bun it doesnt have to be a sock bun, you can braid it or wrap it too. but sock buns are more common because they are more professional looking.
