Very nice tribute video! Only one thing: I saw many illos of BL in his original costume, done by Kevin Nowlan and Rich Buckler, among others--but no drawings of Black Lightning done by myself--the creator of that original costume. Very cool video, other than that one minor point! (Nice pic. of me after Tony Isabella's, though.) --TVE.

For the record: "The Black Panther" is NOT a racist name!!!! Jack Kirby's creation was a king, who ruled a technologically advanced country. A brilliant black man.
The name was co-opted--and forever tarnished--by a racist organization of black men, but Kirby's immortal creation came FIRST, and was certainly not a racist creation, by any stretch of the imagination.
You sully Mr. Kirby's good name by implication, and unwarranted association with other men's corruption.

Batman: The Brave and the Bold isn't BL's only appearance outside the comics as of 2009. He also appears in Superman/Batman: Public Enemies and Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths. In the former, he gets only one line voiced by LeVar Burton.

black lightning is 1 of the best heroes of the dc universe also 1 of my personal favorites i jus wish he got more exposure its a lot of cool black superhereos that no one knos about thanx 4 posting this!!!
