"Hollywood great Morgan Freeman quotes from the poem Invictus - title of his film portrayal of Nelson Mandela - which forms the opening sequence of the BBC's coverage of the RBS Six Nations Championship "
I uploaded this for rugby fans that don'tt have access to six nations.NONE OF THIS MATERIAL IS MY WORK.

This poem and the footage send shivers down the spine. Six nations time is the best part of the year. Nothing compares!!

Morgan Freeman's delivery, combined with this inspirational video moved me enough to have this poem tattooed on my back.

He mentioned Gareth Edward's 75 yard try and something along the lines of 'I always said they should build a cathedral on that spot, and they did... the Millenium Stadium'. Only saw it once during the original broadcast and never found it again but sure I'm not making it up.

Does anyone remember (or even better have a copy of) the 6 nations opening coverage they did with Spike Milligan? I can't remember exactly when it was but THINK it may have been the centenary year. All I know for sure is it was after his death cos it threw me for a minute seeing him interviewed. He was talking about rugby being the best sport, all the history & the pride & rivalries.

The Welsh dragon is so cool, that combined with the music sends shivers down my spine. It's a shame the Welsh team don't play like dragons all the time!
