  • @1986faras I dont know about the prohibition (sounds weird but ok) of quran while in sujuud. But I have heard that you should do du'a after praising, like after 3x subhanerayyiel a'le. Then say for example alluhemigfirli dzenbi kullih (allah forgive all my sins).

But indeed, I have a dua book and in the sujuud part it doesnt say anything about quranic duas.

  • 2 no reality of islam plz go 2 yusuf estes.com

  • جزاکم اللہ خیرا۔۔

That also means that if I want to as for forgiveness in Sujood, I can say

    استغراللہ ربی من کُل ذنب

    instead of

    سبحان ربی العلٰی۔۔۔

    ????

  • Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah's Apostle said, "Every night when it is the last third of the night, our Lord, the Superior, the Blessed, descends to the nearest heaven and says: Is there anyone to invoke Me that I may respond to his invocation? Is there anyone to ask Me so that I may grant him his request? Is there anyone asking My forgiveness so that I may forgive him?. " (See Hadith No. 246,Vol. 2

What better way to invoke Allah during sujood in nafl prayer.

  • I read you may do this in your nafl prayers, for the example tahajud prayer, night prayers that you do to seek the pleasure of Allah. Allah knows best

  • salaam, no ikwaan but rather in matters of ibaadah it is the evidence in affirmation to the act that needs to be established therfore if this is not narrated from the prophet or the salaf then it not permissible. however taking nothing from the sheikh his knowledge is mashAllah vast and he is very benificial and humble.

  • @1986faras Please provide some reference for this from Quran or Sunnah.

Because there is a small difference between Reciting Quran as we do in Qiyaam, and invoking ALLAH (Subhana Wa Taala).

Afterall, Humans are taught everything by AL-MIGHTY ALLAH including Duas. Jazakallah-e-Khair

  • @kad006 : Please provide some reference for this from Quran or Sunnah. Jazakallah-e-Khair

  • Salam, i heard and read that you should not use the duas from the quran during sujood. Because allah has forbbiden Muhammad peace be upon him to recite the quran during sujood and ruku ! Please any knowledgeable brothers or sistesr help me if this sheikh is right regrading what he has said, i want to learn
