USC Utah 2011, First "Big Play" in Pac 12 History - Kalil Blocked FG - Harris TD Return

Deciding play of first ever Pac12 Conference Game, Utah Utes at USC Trojans; while it will certainly not be the last, this play will always be the first Pac 12 "Big Play". The last second field goal attempt by Utah's K Coleman Petersen on last play of game was blocked by USC Lineman Matt Kalil and it was scooped up by USC CB Torin Harris who took it the length of the field for what was later ruled a touchdown.

As a Ute fan, all I can say about our special teams this year is to quote former coach Lou Saban. "They're killing me Whitey, killing me!" :) Great game USC and look forward to seeing you all there in 2012 in Salt Lake.

I'm so glad you posted this. I left 1 minute early to catch a bus back to Union Station so I missed this (and kicking myself later.)

Vegas had to pay out big because the officials penalized USC for unsportmanlike conduct (running on the field), disallowed the TD, leaving the score 17-14. 2 hours later, the Pac 12 conference overruled the officials and the TD stood. Too bad for Vegas because they had already cashed out.

@ICWRecords Way to be a sour Ute fan. Of course I'm frustrated because I feel the Utes could have won, but it was a good game nontheless. If there are such things as moral victories, this was one. Good game. Go utes! They'll get the win next time.

@JimmyDonut42 happened pretty quick, real time at real speed i did not alter the original, put in a slo mo multiclip so we could see the block and fumble reception, Harris can scoot can't he? i think the noise you are hearing is not a whistle but a woman screaming hysterically, the G9 camera mic picks up everything!
