We will not find out what happens after we die because our brains will no longer be functioning. We will die, and elaborate fairy tales of the imaginary friends of a tribe of Bronze Age Jews will have no effect on the laws of physics. Think you can defy these laws with prayer? Jump off a cliff and pray that you won't splat. We all know what will happen. Gods are imaginary.
