GT3 v Z8

The weather was accomodating, so this time the Z8 made an appearance when we took the GT3 out. Once again, the video was shot in HD, and Youtube cannot seem to automatically process the 16:9 into a 4:3 letterbox format, so all apologies for the squished aspect ratio.

z8=road(which is why its called a roadster)

gt3=track car. porsche is at home on the track. z8 is visiting. a track has more curves than the open road. bmw wouldnt keep up.

both are N/A engines so there's no turbo/SC advantage for either

z8=v8=heavier=low end torque!!

gt3=v6=lighter=high end torque!

so of course its gonna scream high! its supposed to! gt3 tops out at around mid 190s to the z8's mid 150s.

When people lock after a Porsche today then they are car freaks which are loving porsche or litlle kids.......After a BMW Z8 everyone is looking because you don´t see this car every day :P and when its a Alpina you are a lucky guy..... sorrry for my bad english

even if it gets destroyed by the GT3, the Z8 is in a league of its own and still one of the most beautiful cars ever produced, while, at the end of the day, he GT3 isanother 911 variant...

Gt3's can do 330km/h i dont think that Z8 would be capable.. in a straight line and corners the GT3 would own.. its that simple
