traction issues????
averagejoe132 1 year ago
@averagejoe132
Not really yet. The real traction issues became when I built the 3.5litre injected twinturbo engine. 750nm of torque made the car really not streetable. Spun the tires from any gear, from any speed just by flooring the pedal. So I sold the car and later the engine and built something else.

Not much antique in this car though.
You should see me really abusing it.

Capri insurance is probably cheaper becouse teenagers no longer wrap them around lightpoles. They wrap Punto's and Mini's instead. The more wraparounds the more is the insurance.

Car is rubbish, ship it to me. Beautiful car, nice work. I can only dream of my 1973 being complete. The bodywork-the flares, are they metal or fiberglass? If you were to do it again, would you change anything? What did you learn (any shortcuts you can give to the rest of us?) Enjoy your car and thanks for the video.

Flares are fiberglass. I did learn that flares ment for Race use don't fit that good and they are not exact mirror images from left to right. Can't think of any shortcuts, shit-lot-a-work. Alot of enjoyment on the way this summer.. ;) new videos too..
