Premise: A re-telling of the BX argument from 7.05's "Selfless". Willow is also there, though silent, as per usual. B's said true love makes an appearance (via her words/flashbacks) and we finally get some emotional ground covered.

This was originally supposed to be entered in that challenge that was going around YouTube about re-editing a scene in 20 seconds. I failed, obviously, because I never finished it, but instead, you got this "retelling" in its place, which I feel is just a better vidlet all around.

I really adore this vid because this is the first fandom (and ship, obviously) that I ever got like...psychotic invested in. We're talking fanvids, fanfic, obsessively rewatching episodes after they aired until the VCR tape broke (yes, they had VCR's back in those days, people); all that crazy stuff that made Kat a little more insane.

Also, this vid owns because that fandom is the reason why I started vidding six years ago. It's sort of like coming full circle, in a way. Vidding the fandom that had such a profound effect on me.

This scene is definitely one of my favorite scenes (and one of the only scenes in S7 that I don't want to cringe at) and it always annoyed me how they just brushed it off so...I felt I had to vid it. <333

@thexrafa Awww, well I hope those are good tears!!! But I felt someone had to do this epic scene it's proper justice. They should have had the flashbacks to begin with because B/A are like...the epitome of EPIC.

This is also one of the most defining moments in Season 7, let alone the show in terms of Buffy's love life. This is the show saying, "Yes, she may have other love interests and she may love other people, but no one will ever compare/measure up to Angel."

It's irrefutable, for sure.

So... um... what? I don't even ship these two and Spuffy are my otp and this scene really annoys me in the show but this is such an EPIC vid and it literally gave me chills. This is absolutely beautiful!
