I discovered this type of scrapbook at a craft fair last fall & figured out how to make them. My daughter asked me to send her the instructions.

Scotch Scrapbooker's Glue with 2-Way Applicator. I picked it up at Wal-Mart, but it's available elsewhere as well. Inexpensive, too.
