This is a selection of photos from the Hanseatic City of Stralsund. Its historic centre belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage. You'll see the churches of St. Mary, St. James and St. Nicholas, the town hall, the Knieper gate and the Kueter gate, the theatre, the German Oceanographic Museum (which is located in an early Gothic monastery), the harbour and the zoo.

Makes me want to go there! What great weather you had. Now I'm going to have to go look up Stralsund and find out more about it. It reminded me of Portugal with all the brightly colored buildings. Loved the music with the water splashing. You really are good at this.

Stralsund is a beautiful city and worth visiting (at least I think so). I've fallen in  love with this place a long time ago. And since it is not too far away from my hometown, I go there almost every year. :)

Ich Lebe seid 23 Jahren in dieser Stadt und ich muss sagen, sie wird jeden Tag schöner. Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall diese Stadt zu Besuchen.

abgesehen von den ghettos ist stralsund eine sehr schöne stadt :-)
