Whiskey Lullaby -Leyton

Alright, firstly I need to tell you all something; this video isn't so much about LP as it is about me. I admit that. If you know the song you already know that this is going to be incredibly tragically sad and depressing. I've recently gotten a very broken heart, and this video is me taking that out on LP (emotional catharsis you could say).(and don't worry, I'm not as depressed as the song :p ) This sadness has nothing to do with LP, I still have complete faith in them and am sill very optimistic and happy for them. In fact, they help me to still believe.

Plot: Through misunderstandings and hurt between Lucas and Peyton, their relationship falls apart. Peyton once again runs away in fear. This leaves Lucas reeling in the pain of losing her (and as we've all seeen in both season 2 and season 5 they don't do well with out each other). Lucas isn't able to handel life without her, so he tries to drink the pain she gave him away, and attempts to forget about her (which is actually quite in character, we've seen him do this 2 to 3 times in the show), but it doesn't work. He finally can't take it anymore, and takes away his life in a final attempt to rid him of her memory. Peyton is shocked to hear the news and rushes to his side as he's in the hospital, and watches as he gives up the battle for life. She's left mourning for him, memories of him constantly assualting her. Trying to deal with the pain she also turns to drinking. This does not get rid of her heartache and extreme pain over the loss of Lucas, so she too gives up on life, not able to take anymore life without him. Their friends are left to greive over the tragedy that occured to the two lovers, and Lucas and Peyton are reunited in the afterlife and finally find some peace, together.

This video is very well done! But I have to say that I don't agree with the fact that Lucas drank in season one to forget about Peyton. It had nothing to do with Peyton. It did fit the video very well though. :)

Well, I agree and disagree. I agree that it wasn't soley about Peyton, that there were other factors. But I do think that the whole Peyton situation was one of the factors that contributed to the combination of things. But I suppose it is open to some interpretation, and to each his own.

And, thank you, I'm glad to hear you thought I used the scenes in a way to that made it come off well.

Its good to hear that part looked ok, I really wasn't satisfied with it but was to impatient at the time to continue to work with it. How did I do it? The wonder that is Vegas, and the cookie cutter effect. ;)
