Multiple car crash in Japan has created an estimated £2m of scrap metal,lol.

Twelve of the 14 cars involved in the accident near Shimonoseki were super cars - including eight Ferraris,two Mercedes and a Lamborghini.

Reports suggest the crash happened after a Mercedes was driven on the wrong side of the road on the Chugoku expressway.

Japanese newspaper The Daily Yomiuri said 10 people were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The group of drivers were reportedly made up of self-employed "car enthusiasts" who we're traveling from Kyushu to Hiroshima.

Pictures of the scene show the motorway littered with debris from the damaged cars.

Among the vehicles were 2 Ferrari A430s,2 360 Mondenas,2 F355s,a Lamborghini Diablo and a Nissan GTR.

Other reports coming in from sky news that one of the cars hit the central barrier which caused all the other cars to collide. Not known yet which story is the correct one.
