You're criminally undersubscribed... but time tends to remedy it.

All thinking men are atheists. Ernest Hemingway Religion is like a disease, it is not very useful, but maybe you could come immune to it. Excellent video!

Don't get me wrong, my goal isn't to convert you to be an atheist, that is absurd. I am just trying to persuade Christians to move away from absolutes. Saying something is absolutely 100% true is what cults do, and it is also an indefensible position. I just want people to acknowledge that there is a tiny microscopic minuscule chance that they could be wrong. Instead of saying "there is a god" i wish people to say "I believe there is a god."

As an intellectual, you need proof that the bible is fact, not fiction. I cannot give you proof that there is a God because he does not show himself and I dont have the power to do so. What im getting at is, its impossible to debate this since we all know so little about it in the first place and there isnt enough proof for me to present for you to believe. Even though this is true, ill still believe because I know that he is there. Im not telling you to convert back, but I atleast wanted to try

Sorry, I did get little off topic, but it would be impossible to trick me into thinking that someone who has some tricks up there sleeves, is Jesus. I already explained why. Alright, after some thinking, I think that you would win this debate. Im not saying im atheist now, but I think it would be impossible for me to prove to you that there is a God or Jesus. Why? because you are an intellectual and you already made up your mind about christianity. Ill keep explaining in the next comment...

I think my point has been missed. If someone could fool you into thinking that they have preformed one of these miracles in modern times, and there could have been magicians back in those days. There has to be a small chance, but a chance none the less, that Jesus could have been a magician. Magicians have done far greater things than turning water into wine and come back from the grave, they have even been buried alive.
I appreciate the comments and to continue this discussion with you,

If someone were to do that and claim they were Jesus then, as stated in the bible, it could be the anti-christ, which when he or she appears, means that the real Jesus will be coming very soon. What I mean by his second coming, I mean that he will come and pick his followers up (christians) and bring them to heaven, while those who chose to follow the anti-christ, who will trick people that he is divine, will stay here and burn in another hell, where even the demons will be damned for eternity.
One more thing, the closest thing to prove God and heaven, is by looking up Near-Death experiences. I can do no more =P

I would trust near death experiences the least. Every religion has a plethora of near-death stories where someone has claimed to see their deity or deities. Being near death, or having your brain shut down for a little while makes you incredibly prone to hallucinations. Even if every Christian near-death experience was factual, the fact that other religions also have many would make it impossible to "prove" the legitimacy of a near death claim.

Continued: Furthermore if I were to believe in a god, i would hope that he would not only reveal himself to me. So many people are burning in hell just because they have never "seen god," or seen any hint that the Christian god is the true one. So any truly loving god would reveal himself to everyone, not just to near-death believers or ex-believers.

Well that's why I believe in God, but anyways, like I said, I dont think I can win this because I have no proof for you. Therefore, I cant convince you that there is a God and if I did, you wouldn't be christian because you feel that God is evil. So what im saying is you won because there is no proof, but it doesn't mean he isnt there, to me at least. Your right its possible im wrong, but I dont think so. At least you respect that and I believe there is a God :) Discussion over =P

This comment and the last one has made my day. While we may disagree on theological issues, you seem like an incredibly reasonable person who has demonstrated critical thinking skills.
We will probably never persuade each other, and I am fine with that. I also accept the possibility that I am wrong, and TRY to look at things with as few bias's as possible, but I am only human.
I wish you well on all of your future endeavors and hope you enjoyed my videos.
Peace,
