  • overweight combined with drug use combined with natural bad heart problem and high blood pressure = not good news. Sad to see so many other lifters go same route as him too, its not a healthy lifestyle by any means especailly with drug use that is bad for the heart and kidneys.

  • unforgotten, the best

  • @mepica77 nooo way lol fuck these guys.

  • @tunney101 idk but they can squat 10x your weight, so...

  • @desembodic what drugs did he use bc he seemed like a good humble guy that was A BEAST

  • how can these fat fucks call themselves athletes, can they even move laterally?

  • @whazupsuckafish Rubbish! It was soulful, ghetto-music and you know it! Now had it been Redneck, white-trash, country-super-crap then you could still have counted on me to say it because it would have been just as "nails on a chalk-board" tasteless in nature...but rest assured that I'm the equal opertunity hater. And my opinions were substantiated by Clark himself when he was alive even. Those were his very own words taken from an Ironman Magazine interview around 1991. The Oz has spoken! =O

  • @MrSchultzstaffel I guess we'll have to just agree to disagree, as I feel your opinions are baseless and unfounded. I can respect those same opinions, nonetheless, but one word of advice: when someone clearly as intelligent as yourself has to throw any kind of semi racist (''soulful ghetto music'') comment/remark into a harmless debate, it takes away from the very point you try and make. Had I just ignored what you said after the ghetto comment, I'd have never known you made for good convo.

  • @whazupsuckafish That's ridicilous. Ironman magazine did a story on him in his prime where he admitted to being on an entire pharmacy of drugs that enabled him to be 335 pounds and set world records. As a officer of the court dealing in juvinile affairs, (his real job,) he felt tortured that he was signing autographs as the world's strongest man and counciling young people who were on drugs; while he was using them himself. He pledged to get off them eventually. Eventually...he ended up dead.

  • @MrSchultzstaffel To me, this just proves my original point. You say, serious drug addict...I say rehabilitated drug addict. It's just a difference of opinion, and thats ok, but to say that he ultimately met his demise because he used drugs is unfounded. I'd say his EXTREMELY high blood pressure (which ran in his family) had a great deal to do with it, and that mixed with constant over-exertion and being overweight, all combined, killed him. People are so quick to blame drugs. He stopped at 22.

  • @whazupsuckafish Well, your humble attitude demonstrates that you're not such a bad guy when all is said and done. But this guy was a serious drug addict and should not be lionized by anyone. He died from his use of drugs and when has that ever been a reason to edify anyone? Beckon young black children to look up to those who have never used drugs and stand on their own merrit and character. And that "soulful ghetto music" is as soothful as a battery acid enema. Mariah Carey is pure butt-gas!

  • @MrSchultzstaffel the last comment, I have to say, made me laugh...BUT, i stand by my original opinion. no reason to bring race into this. have a nice day man.
