Evan Williams conducting the Lawrence Symphony Orchestra in a reading of Beethoven's Egmont Overture on May 13, 2010. This reading was a part of an Advanced Conducting class at Lawrence University. Please excuse the poor sound quality as this was a camcorder and placed directly behind the horns.
With all due respect, you just can't conduct an orchestra by simply moving you're hands around. Egmont is drama, no more no less. It should be expressed this way.
Leo Stam, born in Egmond(Holland) and a Beethoven fan.
