Dean and Company Christmas Special featuring Rick and Bubba

Here's another clip from the infamous Dean & Company Christmas Special. This one features Deanie and her husband Charles in a soul-stirring duet.

The only copy I have is from the now defunct TV version of The Rick & Bubba Show that used to air on Turner South. Their commentary is also present in the video but, for me, it adds a little something extra.

For those that don't know, this is a special that airs on a Birmingham, AL cable access channel and is produced by a local family.

I grew up in Alabama, and admit it freely :), and lived for four years in Birmingham. A friend of mine, from the same small town of Jasper, introduced me to Dean and Company and we would have weekly parties based around this show. They were all insane, but who isn't, and that stupid dog puppet, wasn't it Popo, made us howl until our sides hurt. It's nice how someone can make you smile and laugh even through all the cheese and belief that they were stars. :)
