  • I've played this for years but haven't actually heard it for decades. Nice to hear the original. Nice tribute (and nice guitar)!

I saw Redbone about 20 years ago, playing in a coffee house in Michigan -- what a great performer/entertainer!

  • Original? Guitar??

  • Great!

I wonder if the song's narrator is afraid he'll be attacked by teenagers or wild dogs or something if he leaves the house without his stick.

  • Could be. That's why I always carry a stick.

  • Where can I get one of those 410 guage canes ?

  • I really enjoyed your rendition. I guess its kind of a Leon Redbone tribute, and very amusing; also skillfully done and very pretty.
