You knew that the Panasonic FZ50 had a 1/1.8 inch sensor {:0 wtf!! Believe me I would rather have a bigger sensor than a bigger zoom anyday 12x zoom is fine maybe 18 or 20 too and if panasonic adapts a 1/1.8 inch CCD sensor on there upcomming Bridge cameras that would be great

There is software out there ,that can remove a little bit or alot of noise without washing away detail ,try Powerdirector 8 or Sony Vegas those include some noise removal and image exposure tools to brighten up those dark scenes ;)

My Panasonic HDC-SDT750 Camcorder does a better job in low light, with less noise and stronger colour performance. And in daylight it delivers excellent video quality

@swanty32e how much did it cost you? I want to ge the HDC SD9 cause it has a 3CCD system and it does awesome in lowlight, or ill just get the HS 300 or 700 ;) i do miss those CDD's on camcorders not cameras though ;(
