This video shows a way to convert a normal cell phone to a solar cell phone charger. Materials needed are some small solar panels, some cable, a soldering iron and some silicone. This solar cell phone charger is easy to make and will power almost any cell phone. It costs approx 8 $ to build and this includes the cost of 2 brand new solar cells from garden lights. The solar cell phone charger will operate in slightly cloudy to sunny conditions and would be ideal for those who are constantly on the go and may not always have access to a traditional cell phone charging system.
