24HR LOST BOYS 2009 Boingo Boingo

A light hearted and up beat short film where a small group of playful chromes spheres visit our neighborhood for a day of fun in the sun.

Approx. 1 Minute 10 Seconds

The majority of this short film was filmed and animated during our annual 24 hour project at the Lost Boys Learning - School of Visual Effects. (www.lostboys-learning.com)

We filmed the background footage on my Nikon D90. We animated the chrome spheres using Autodesk's Maya which were then Composited into the film using the Foundry's NUKE.

The music was created and generously shared with us by the Emmy Award winning Composer Charles Denler. (www.charlesdenler.com)

Be warned, the tune is catchy and may invade your mind for a good 24 hours or so...

@gunblade64 Thanks for feedback, the plot is simple, so simple that it's easily missed.

This piece was made for a local art show entitled "Neighbourhood" and explores a day of play through the eyes of the childlike spheres. The credit list reflects the members of my year long Visual Effects Program. Every year I do a 24 hour project where we stay up all night and produce a strange little animation for fun.

Hopefully that supplies a little more context for you.
