Montesa 348

My montesa 348, took me under two weeks to restore, stripped down to the last nut and bolt.Not a show piece but practicle and useable.

Hi,The 348 is a great bike, but, in trials I find it does not steer as well as my 200 Montesa, the 348 has bags of 'grunt' and is very economical on fuel, the engines are very strong and reliable. I would never part with it.

Yes, a very short time to get it ready for a trial on the 13 of march. glad I did it, fantastic bike with loads of bottom end power. I've posted two other videos of me riding it around my orchard to get it set up. Cheers

Lovely Mont, Ive just purchased one of these off ebay. Its my first trials bike, i'm hoping to get into trials after a bit of practise. I'm 45 with no experience of riding a trials bike although I have a road motorcycle. Just hope that this is the right bike for me to start on, I aint gonna be competing, just tootling about the woods and old pit site where I live. Any information on this bike would be helpful, PS youve done a lovely job in such a short space of time, enjoy riding it.

A week and a half, blimey! I've had mine 10 months, and it's still not finished! It's been stripped down, powder coated etc, but it has been difficult finding the correct parts (it had lots of MH349 parts on it) It took about 5 months to get it to ridable condition, and it's now being trailed and finished off at the same time.  Keep the videos coming!
