Same thing happen to me.... I bought a 10" h.o box on CL and it sounded like shit... I was pissed off but a buddy told me to put some screws and glue.... It sounds great now...happy again!!! For now

sounds like u need to reseal ur box somewhere i had the same rattling and i just found where the seal was missin in my box n sealed it right back up with some silicon quick and easy

@AceNizzle Yeah, you're absolutely right. After some trial and error (done by someone else), it was basically the back giving out. Not sure how that happened but it just did. I had it happen to other boxes (MTX, a little cheaper) which I glued and screwed myself. As for this one, I sold it to get rid of it before checking the seal. Ah well, kept the sub, better off anyways lol

@chanc812 It's not. I should really update this thread, but we took the sub out to find that it doesn't make the noise. Put the sub back in, it makes it ... firing up it doesn't, but sitting normal and firing towards the trunk, it makes the noise. The w7 is in another box right now and it sounds tight as ever, so it was never the sub. I'm thinking about messaging JL, see what ideas they have.
