Students in the California State University speak out against the CSU Board of Trustees proposal to increase students fees by 10% for undergraduates, graduate students and teaching credential candidates.
This is the seventh fee increase since 2002, when the Trustees began a policy of steep annual
hikes in an attempt to increase the proportion of costs borne by students and their families. The only
year without a fee hike occurred during the governors re-election campaign.
Fees have more than doubled since 2002, and risen far faster than inflation.
