Shamelessly stolen from NufffRespect (Thank you!)

This video is an edited version of one of Alan Watts Blurbs from November 23 2006. I put this video together to provide a brief introduction to the subject of predictive programming and how the mainstream media has been used to subtly manipulate our minds to guide us down a particular path. There is so much to this whole subject that it is impossible to cover everything within a short video like this. But I have at least tried to get you started by providing a summary of how predictive programming works. If you go to http://www.CuttingThroughTheMatrix.com and check out some of the many talks that Alan has given on this subject, youll be amazed at the sheer extent of the use of predictive programming in the media.

Predictive programming comes in many forms and many degrees of subtlety. If you have never looked into this subject, you wouldnt even notice how often predictive programming is used in fictional dramas. But when you know how to recognise the signs, you realise that the mainstream media is infested with it. As Alan Watt has said many times: All fiction is propaganda., and that is so true. When you watch your favorite TV cop drama, you probably assume that it is produced solely for the purpose of providing drama and entertainment for your viewing pleasure. And that is true to an extent. But theres another side to it that most people rarely think about. And thats the fact that these types of programmes are also used as a way of conditioning our minds to accept certain ways of thinking about things. When we see a character in the drama react in a certain way to hearing news of a certain thing, we will then be far more likely to react in a similar way. Even though you know you have your own mind, and you know that you are an individual who is free to think any way you choose, there is no getting away from the fact that you will be influenced by the way other people react to things. Weve done it since the day we were born. For example, lets say youre watching your favorite soap opera and one of the characters gets the wrong end of the stick and comes up with some crazy idea about how their partner is cheating on them. And then the characters friend says See, there you go again with your crazy conspiracy theories.. This is a typical example of counter-intelligence or propaganda, as it would have the effect of altering the way the viewer thinks about anyone who comes out with any valid idea about how things are not what they seem. Counter-intelligence is often used when a secret has leaked out into the public domain and the establishment tries to attach some false or ridiculous association to the secret so that people will not want to believe it. The term conspiracy theorist was invented for the purpose of discrediting anyone who disagrees with the establishments interpretation of reality. Due to the effect of predictive programming over the last half century, the term conspiracy theorist is now so loaded with negativity that it has become more of an insult rather than a description.

Occult symbolism is also used extensively in the media, particularly in Hollywood movies, and especially in cartoons targeted at children. From the Wizard of Oz to Mickey Mouse to Buzz Lightyear, the symbolism is put right in your face, and anyone who knows about occult symbolism can see it a mile off. I was amazed at how much occult symbolism is in the Toy Story movie. Virtually every scene contains images of pentagrams and other masonic symbols, such as the compass and square.

The people who work in Hollywood are masters at their craft and we have to give them credit for what they do. Not only do they create some amazing movies that keep us entertained, they are also able to use those movies to imprint certain messages in our mind, and without most people being aware of it. Predictive programming isnt always a negative thing in my opinion, as it can be used for positive effects as well. Its a bit like electricity in that regard. Electricity can cook your food but it can also cook YOU if youre not careful. I have no objection to Hollywood or to the people who are employed there. But we should all be aware of how our mind can be programmed if we allow it to be. This short video can only provide an intro to the subject. To get a fuller picture of how predictive programming works and how it has been used, you really need to listen to Alan Watt at http://www.CuttingThroughTheMatrix.com. He goes into detail and hes done extensive research into the subject.

  • THIS is what we need to teach our children about. Instead of letting them learn from TV. I work with kids and I see how their brains are molded. Parents have actually told me how "educational" tv can be. i used to think so to, usually only watchin History and Discovery etc...but how easily the past is rewritten, and how easily "facts and data" can be skewed or misinterpreted. I fear humanity is doomed by its ignorance, pride and greed

  • great movie I hate the evil that is out there in the world man.

  • I think they should teach more than they do in schools. I was lucky in High school and middle school I could take finance and psychological classes, they have helped me somewhat. But young kids and teens today need to learn the truth, because people think they should react with violance, magick, or in unreasonable ways to things. I love philosphy and history books. But you need to realize Media is to some extent goverment and it's own business.

  • @renndragon You mean the evil in the world is man.

  • Michael Tsarion, not Alan Watts.

  • @Carnsuelo this is girlphriend still by the way i logged on to my hubbies account. feel free to send gph a msg so i dont keep jumpin back and forth and lose the thread. i am enjoying our talk very much and want to keep it goin!Friend me, too if u like! hope to hear from you soon!! namaste

  • @ZenBarracuda same could be said for so may things. Just about any "ISM" is great on paper til the peolpe get involved. Mckenna is SO calm and positive and doesn't point ANY fingers. No conspiracy. Just straight talk about everything from the human condition and what we can do to help it GROW. So sad he's dead. He was like hicks and carlin without the comedy and he was a TRUE shaman. BEAUTIFUL man. He and Graham Hancock. I am far from surprised i think more people are upset then let on

  • @girlphriend I am 16 years old, when I play with my 4 year old cousin (running etc) hid dad,(my uncle) stops him and sends him to watch tv and stay quiet, and im pissed off cause I cant tell him anything.

  • look up my facebook group, WASTED YOUTH. ive never looked up any type of video like this until tonight, and i started the group a couple months back stating that i had the same ideas in my head, what i want to do is just make the most people possible aware by making a facebook group. it has not taken off but i am going to give it a shot again. thanks for your time.

  • @Carnsuelo I have heard of terrence McKenna. I haven't read his work yet. Nietzsche is dangerous. I very nearly quit my job after reading his work. It was only this week that I decided it probably wouldn't be a good idea, all things considered. I've never really fit in either. You may be surprised to learn that 1 in 4 people in the UK experience mental health problems during their lifetime. That would suggest that a great many people have similar feelings of alienation. Just be yourself :-)

  • @ZenBarracuda never read nietche, but i have heard a LITTLE about his philosophy. have you ever heard Terrence Mckenna? I've never really "fit in". when i was a kid it drove me nuts. now i wear it proudly. I never understood why my teachers would get so upset when i expressed an independent thought. I quit school after i realized it was all bs. My parents supported me cuz i explained my reasons so well. Fitting in is OVERRATED. Why would u want to in this world anyway?

  • @girlphriend I've started reading the German philosopher, Nietzsche, who believed that in order to live an authentic life, the individual must create meaning in a meaningless world. He thought you should live in a way that expresses your own unique self. Nietzsche felt you should master your desires around the focused goal you have given your life. Sure, it's easy and it's comfortable to fit in. But if it isn't authentic, it just isn't real.
