This is Daito, he does experiments with mycoelectric sensors, midi, visuals, bio-feed back etc.
What he's using there is myoelectric sensors, that pick up the electricity made when his muscles move, so as he tenses his forearm for example, it will play a beat/instrument/sound. Very cool stuff.
