Τhe Rums are the "CHRISTIAN GREEKS" (Ρωμιοί) the eastern part Byzantine Empire Called Romania (Ρωμανία). The native language was the Greek all over the empire. They didnt called themselves Greeks (Γραικοί- Έλληνες) afraid of the historically atheistic view of the nation. Obviously not the latin Romans. Also turks called the Greeks "Rums" when greece was a part of the ottoman empire. There is nothing called Unan or Unanistan in the days of Surah 30. .
