Read about captain Witold Pilecki, one of bravest man in WWII - he volunteered into Auschwitz to report on situation in camps to Allies and to organise escapes (like in this video). Killed by communists after WWII end.

@mcpartridgeboy the ss soldiers raped no one. most thought the jews were disgusting because they were brainwashed. if you actually pay attention, female holocaust survivors and some males say when in the ghettos for example jews couldn't trust each other. there is even an account of a survivor saying when he was a little boy in auschwitz a jewish man jumped in bed with him and raped him.

there's another better documentary Auschwitz - Nazis and the Final Solution, episode 3 part 3, this story is told with the exact same footage and the exact same words narrated by a man, a british male translator and kazimierz himself.

the programme is called auschwitz inside the nazi state..the dvd is 300mins long,interesting...by the way all of them made it to freedom.
