Ijust read up on how to make a hard drive recognizable on Xbox 360. You have to format the partition you are going to use as the PRIMARY partition. It should show up on your Xbox :) Thumb up so other people can see this

Thank you thank you THANK YOU....i was at a loss until i found your video , i even went so far as to go to a "geek" store and when i described my issue he looked at me like i was was speaking a foreign language and told me with clueless face that there is absolutely NO WAY to partition it to what i need ..and you proved him wrong and im so grateful to you so much so that im going to go back to his store and show him the video

@stuiedaman what about xbox 360? I tried it on fat32 but i wouldn't work, I plugged it in all usb ports and it still wont work. Im am using th easeus partition manager

@Xavierrex3 sorry i didnt catch your comment. in case you are still wondering or for anyone else, just reformat it under ntfs formt. You can also do this in the built it disk management in Windows

would a western digital external hard drive with a usb 3.0 and 2.0 combo work on my ps3 after formatting it to fat32 or do i have to buy one with only a usb 2.0 for it to work on my ps3?
