With all the mean and careless drivers around here in Napa, I needed to improve my bike riding experience. Car horn honking shouldn't be limited to car or motorcycle driving should it? No way!! Bicycles should be noticed too. My video shows what I did. I bought a set of FIAMM horns and mounted them to the front fork, then wired them to a horn button mounted on the handle bars. From there the wires run through a fuse and to a battery. Let me know if you'd like me to post a follow-up video showing in more detail how the horns and accessories are mounted and wired. By the way, in case you're wondering, I spruced up the horn system on my car as well. Perhaps I'll post a video of that too, in the future.

  • I have Train Horns on my bicycle now and man I think I went Over board (No Pun intended) lol

  • @repeatman Oh wow! That's pretty cool! I'll have to check out your video if you have one up showing it.

  • Hahaha this is awesome! I haven't rode my bike in a while, but this has given me new reason to do so! Just have to find that old 18v drill battery I had laying around. I've got one of those racks on the back of mine which should be very useful in this project! The only question now is: 2 AM80S', or 4...

  • @vietnamrebel 4 would definitely make an impression! You should find two sets that aren't quite of the same pitch so you can get that shrill dischord kind of sound.

  • Very good! What battery do you used?

  • @Tagesverk I used a jumpstart battery. It was way too heavy and bulky looking. I have since been using a drill battery instead. Much more inconspicuous.
