My experience has shown Axe to be very useful with it's knockdowns and hard, but slow, shots. Tanker secondaries are all right about the same right now. Fire is less defensive, but has a decent dps output. I've had a fire/fire since the beginning and though it's been nerfed to the ground, it's still good for healer groups and super easy to solo herd with a few purples in your pocket.

I did this mish in like 5 mins because i ran past all the groups she was pretty easy with my scrapper i was only tryin to get the portal jockey accolade but yeah she was easy with my claw/regen

Well the Axe part is the weaker half. I think /Fire was pretty darn good as a poor man's regen tanker. Axe does Lethal damage which is more easily resisted by AV's and other late game enemies. Something like EM/Fire would probably have a much easier time.

Yes, well, when you duplicate the same feat with a Fire/Axe Tanker and half a tray of insps you be sure to post the link here. I haven't the slightest idea what AT's are hot or not now, since I haven't played in over 6 months. But I'm betting Fire/Axe is still considered the suck, since Tanker's aren't due for buffing until 2010. ;)

There is a mission to collect meteor fragments in Bloody Bay, the lowest level PVP zone (minimum level to enter is 15). A scientist will ask you to collect samples of 5 different meteors and then refine them or something at a firebase in the zone. You have to smash all of the firebases defenses to be able to refine the ore. Once you do that, return it to the scientist for your Shivan temp pet reward. And it's renewable! ;)
