tomitstube, sinclair tv stations went as far as requiring their reporters to sign off stories with "we support the president" during the bushpig administration. not the troops, not the nation, but that drunken scumsucking halfwit bush. neo-cons infiltrated local tv from the 80's onward, it's pretty untrustworthy unless you live in a top five market.

Katavideo - i wuz unaware of Sinclair till now, but you are dead right. these people are definitely trying to influence the general public thru conservative based news and programming.

they are buying it all up. i knew something wuz beginning to stink with local news, local news leaning in heavy bias to the right, while all along bashing all other media as liberal.

Clear Channel Communications is another mega media giant in FOX's pocket, Beck, Hannity, Limbaugh. liberal media? hahaha

the high class educated faction of the republican party doesn't like palin because she represents the religious right (which also happens to be very zionist) and rural members of the party. the republican party used to be strong on fiscal responsibility, realistic foreign policy, immigration, animal welfare/environmental legislation, staying out of adults' private lives and the mccain/palin ticket was antithetical to those ideals.

What crap.

-The Republican Party never championed "animal welfare". TR himself was an avid hunter.

-Theres no proof that Palin is a Zionist.

-She vetoed legislation which would've denied benefits for partners of gay state employees.

-Under Palin, AK has doubled their budget reserves.

Palin has governed Alaska as a populist reformer. AK has a strong libertarian streak. You may want to believe she's a religious nut. But if she was, it would be impossible to maintain her 70% approval rating.

Another thing in this same clip, Chuck Todd introduces Jon Huntsman as a Republican who enthusiastically supports the McCain/Palin ticket.

Huntsman is an Ivy League educated MBA who supports civil unions for gays & caps on greenhouse gases.

But I'm sure Democrats will also dismiss him as a retard troglodyte if he's ever the Republican nominee for President.
