According to some sources, private space exploration could blossom into a $700m industry by 2020. In addition to travel, entrepreneurs and others are developing opportunities to mine natural resources from outer space—from minerals, to water, to commodities for energy generation. This distinguished panel—including the CEO of a foundation offering prizes for space industry innovation; the CEO of a private commercial lunar enterprise and co-founder of an international space university; a space exploration investor; and a former NASA astronaut—will explore the present and future of outer space commercialization, including economics, trends, predictions, and public private partnerships. David Livingston, knowledgeable and entertaining host of The Space Show, will lead the discussion.
I can't stand that astrostooge nasa has dropped the ball with the shuttle. The shuttle cost more pound per pound than the tech that we had going in the 50s.

Check out my film in my channel. Not only can space open up, but to the public. Space is being commercialized for the super rich and as a political tool. Can you imagine the madness of mass slaughterhouses in space, or the mass political corruption in space, just like in star wars? my goodness NO!
