@makdrumz, oh yes I agree .... like I had said just a matter of taste, I didn't do it so I should be happy to hear it, it's just styles some people like. I like Dave Wekl but even his style can get on my nerves because he is so good at a tech level that it doesn't feel FROM THE HEART but from the CHART. *like how many notes can I play on a page thing ... Now Buddy Rich was awesome with notes .... ; )

Gadd uses the same Drum solo for all his work ... sorry, just an opinion from a fellow Drummer .... Dennis or Vinnie would have tore it up ...

@jmillzz2 Why? Corea wrote it and performed it without the cheesey vocal. Corea's version much better plus he is the composer. Maybe this should be title Jarreua performs Chick Corea's Spain or some such thing.....

love it. my school has a group working on jazz as their music project and today they performed their arrangement of it for cello, percussion, electronic piano and suona. Very queer combination if you ask, but it sounded great too. Just thought of actually listening to the original.
