  • This is fake you piece of shit. The 45 plates look different than what the guy is using behind you. 1) why does the gym have different kinds of 45 plates and how come you're using 10 of the ones that look different from what everyone else is using. 2) The bar bends with 495. The bar didn't bend in the video at all, almost as if you were using 25 light plates = a 295 lb bench. NOT a 495.

  • @sepehrsareskani Retard, look the rest of my videos, I posted a 507.5lbs bench with a pause at Canadian National Powerlifting Champoinships. I guess they use fake plates there too? At for the plates looking different, it doesn't take a genius to tell that mine are facing in and the guy behind me has his plates facing out.

  • How did you get so much speed if your max is only about 10 lbs heavier then. If this is real then ill be impressed. if it is real how did you train to get so much speed? Not trying to be an asshole, but i would like to move heavy weight fast too.

  • @RTwithJosh I have always been extremely fast off my chest, you may want to try adding chains or bands to your routine, they my help that speed. My sticking point is when my arms hit about 90 degrees. So if I can get off my chest fast, I can carry the momentum through the tough part.

  • i cant even do half of that.. LMAO keep up the good work! are those special bars? this one doesnt bend too much

  • @InternetTheExplorers I actually don't train at that gym anymore, but the bars were pretty thick, I actually didn't like them that much for benching. They felt more like a squatting bar. What people have to remember is that when you are benching you are gripping a lot wider then when you deadlift, so you will not see the same bend in the bar.

  • you couldnt add 5 pounds?

  • @intangibledc Load of shit eh, google Canadian powerlifting federation and see who has the raw record at 230kg (507.5lbs). There is a video of the lift on my profile. You should probably do a little research before you write your rude comments.

  • @sepehrsareskani Yeah, those silly rubber plates only imitate the sound of metal when crashing together! This is so fake, I bet even you could do it!

  • Damn Dude u a beast!!!!!

  • youtube somehow brought me here...what's with all the stupid retarded comments here...this guy is one of THE BEST lifters in Canada...jealous fuckers

  • i don't know why there is hating on this video. that was a great lift mate! fuck everyone else.

  • @Sinny1414 lol u hoed that dude.. wat a fucking idiot

  • @Sinny1414 Oh i see! So are you still lifting? I bet your max is WAY higher now!

  • @Sinny1414

I wonder if you could do a super wide grip bench to help that sticking point, i don't know how else you could hit that spot otherwise. I have the exact opposite problem I'm very strong off the bottom but the half way thru is where my sticking point is. The chains and bands might actually help with that tho.
