RockingOn, weren't most of Gary's songs written by Mike Leander? At least the glitter band wrote alot of their own stuff.

Gary Glitter wrote all his hit's WITH Mike Leander - having said that, without Mike there would have been NO glitter at all.

Thanks Clubleader, brought back wonderful memories. I remembered most of the pics and what a great vocal by John. How I miss Gerry though, can't believe he's gone. Thanks for all your other vids too, haven't seen the boys singing for about 25 years - I feel like a teenager again.!

This is a great tribute to a great band. I loved the Glitter Band all those years ago and still do. This live version of Goodbye My Love is fantastic - John's voice is truly brilliant. RIP gorgeous Gerry.

Great showmen. Saw most of their shows and Garys. Im 51 yrs old now and my kids think im sad, but what great showmen they were, sadly missed. r.i.p Gerry. x

@ pigsley meant to say it was when I showed my daughter the photo's of me & my flat mate at the time when we were going to one of their my gigs at the Apollo in Glasgow

Hi Cassiedoll - Used to see them at the Glasgow Apollo way back from 1974 - 76. My kids laugh at what I enjoyed - but I still thought they were fantastic - great stomping music, esp with Pete and Tony setting the beat!
