  • Could cut up cooked pumpkin work instead of puree.

  • @ENOCK360 Yes. Just bake it in the oven for a bit to carmelize.

  • I was thinking of making this as my first all grain batch. I was wondering how much water did you use for the mash and at what temperature was it done at.

  • @mlmartin12480 I believe Steve used 1.5 quarts/pound at around 152F.

  • Thanks for the idea for using roasted pumpkin seeds with the mash. I wrestled with that theory until you blazed that trail. Now I'll do it...that is going to add a whole new dimension to the flavor!
