@sharpshooterking9 It's very basic, in fact, the only effect in this video is chroma keyer. The flame is not CGI, just flame of lighter, filmed in front of dark desk, masked and keyed to the footage of the hand. If anything is making this trick interresting or good looking, it's timing. I just had to make exactly the same move with the lighter and later with the hand, to make the flame lean the right direction and put it out at the right time. @sharpshooterking9 Oh, then it will be better, if you start learning Masking and Chroma keying on some basic tutorials, that are on Youtube and internet already (hope you have the Pro version of Vegas, since it's the only one that has masking tool). When you learn these basics, I'm sure you will understand my previous comment. It will also be better for you to learn those skills separatelly and really master them, than to learn how to make this single effect. You just have to start from scratch.
