I have a question. Do races have thier own race armour through out the game or what?

I can't really say. I just noticed while playing that the Norn Ranger's starting outfit is the same as the Human Thief (for females). Also the Human Necromancer has the same outfit as the Sylvari Elementalist. Perhaps they get their own eventually? I'll have to wait and see once the game launches... but from what I've played, no.

If you notice, each class of armor - for example, medium armor - is used for the starting armor for Engineers, Thieves, and Rangers, whereas light armor is used for Elementalists, Necromancers, and Mesmers. Later in the game, their will be cultural armors, which differ based on race, but for the most part armors look the same.
